Celtics Take Commanding 3-0 Lead in NBA Finals
Boston Defeats Dallas 106-99 in Game 3
Dynamic Duo Fuels Celtics Victory
The Boston Celtics extended their dominance in the NBA Finals on Friday night, claiming a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Dallas Mavericks with a 106-99 victory in Game 3.
The Celtics were led by their dynamic duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who combined for 61 points. Tatum led the way with 31 points, while Brown added 30. Kristaps Porzingis returned from a calf injury for the Mavericks and contributed 20 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Boston's offensive firepower.
The Celtics took control of the game in the first quarter, outscoring the Mavericks 35-24. They maintained their lead throughout the second and third quarters, before holding off a late Dallas rally in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
With the win, the Celtics are now just two wins away from their 18th NBA championship. Game 4 of the series will be played in Dallas on Sunday.
